Well now is your chance! We're offering you the opportunity to meet the whole band in person during the 2010 UK tour. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is sign up to the Skunk Anansie mailing list here and tell us what show you have tickets for (you'll find links to buy tickets on the gig section of this site). The winner's for each date will be chosen at random and invited along with a friend to the venue pre show to hang out with the whole band, get their picture taken and get stuff signed! Sound good?

Information on how to enter and the prize details form part of these terms and conditions of entry. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.:
1. Competition prize does NOT include tickets to the show
2. In order to enter you must have valid tickets to the show for both you and your friend (or just you if you are attending alone).
3. If you are already signed up to the mailing list you will need to sign up again naming the show you're attending in order to be part of this competition
4. You must provide all information requested above including the name of the venue you are attending when entering
5.There will be three winners chosen for each show, each winner is entitled to bring one guest
6. The prize is to meet Skunk Anansie pre show
7. Winners will be contacted direct via email at least 48 hours before the show
8. Failure to reply to the email we send winners within 24 hours will result in the prize going to someone else
9. By entering this competition you agree to be automatically added to the Skunk Anansie mailing list
10. Winners must be available to be at the venue 3 hours before the show
11. Prizes can not be transferred and will be valid for the named competition winner and their named companion only
12. Winners will need to provide a valid form of ID and confirmation email if requested upon arrival at the venue
13. The judges decision is final
14. The Band accept no responsibility if the event or any part thereof is abandoned, called off or re-scheduled for any reason whatsoever and if this occurs, the winners and their companions forfeit all rights to attend and participate in the relevant event and no cash or substitute prizes will be provided in lieu. In the event of such cancellation, rescheduling or unavailability of the prize, the band will endeavour, but are not obliged, to provide a substitute prize of equivalent value.

After a sell out UK Tour last autumn, Skunk Anansie are back for a 10 date jaunt in November 2010.
With 5 million album sales, one of the most forthright, iconic, and confrontational female lead singers in modern musical history, a six-year back catalogue to make you quiver, Skunk Anansie are back!
Following an eight-year hiatus, Skunk Anansie are re-born, revitalised and as confrontational as ever, fully armed with highly charged, brand new tracks, a blistering greatest hits record. Last year they return with their epic new single ‘Because Of You’ from their ‘Greatest Hits’ record, ‘Smashes and Trashes’ out now.
Written and produced by Skunk Anansie – Skin (Lead Vocals), Cass (bass), Ace (Guitar) and Mark Richardson (Drums) ‘Because Of You’ is bursting with visceral energy. Kicking off with a sinister, nape prickling guitar riff, Skin’s intense vocal, which has never sounded better climbs on top, the track then hits you with a powerful wall of sound, showcasing their raw power and guile.
The ‘Greatest Hits’ record ‘Smashes and Trashes’ is a 15-track career-embracing album. It features classic moments from their first two Top Ten albums ‘Paranoid & Sunburnt’, ‘Stoosh’ and their 1999 album ‘’Post Orgasmic Chill’. From the rejoiceful ‘Weak’ to the anthemic ‘Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good)’ it’s a timeless record brimming with hits, which is translated into the here and now in the form of their three brand new tracks; ‘Because Of You’, ‘Tear The Place Up’ and ‘Squander’.
Skunk Anansie’s next studio album is loosely penciled in for mid-2010. The live arena is, of course, Skunk’s natural habitat – the band’s personal live highlights include a show-stopping appearance at Glastonbury in 1999, playing Nelson Mandela’s 80th Birthday Party and playing in front of the Dalai Lama.

Skunk Anansie have confirmed they are currently in the studio putting the final touches to a brand new album. The new album (name TBC) is scheduled to be released in winter 2010.
